12-Week Beginner Apparel Sewing Course 

Learn to sew with confidence in this 12-week apparel sewing course, designed to build essential skills step by step. Perfect for homeschool students and beginners, this course covers everything from sewing machine basics to garment construction.

What You’ll Learn:

✔ Sewing machine operation & troubleshooting
✔ Pattern reading & cutting techniques
✔ Fabric knowledge with a swatch binder & worksheets
✔ Seam finishes, zippers, hems, and elastic casings
✔ Garment construction and hands-on projects

Course Details:

• Duration: 12 weeks (2-hour classes per week)
  • Classes start January 29th
  • Thursdays, 6pm
• Location: 2795 Park St. Riverside, Jacksonville, FL 32205
• Materials: Interfacing, zippers, and sample fabrics included (students provide fabric for independent projects)
• Cost: $600 + $45 registration/supply fee*

  *Registration fee waived for Sewing 101 students. Registration payment will be invoiced separately.

Payment Options:

• Pay in Full: $575 (save $25)

• Payment Plan: 3 installments of $200

Additional Details:

• Bring your own sewing machine (highly encouraged for long-term learning)

• Rental machines available for $10 per session

• PEP Reimbursement documentation provided
